For a beer that isn't distributed much further than someone can throw it, that's pretty high.. Just MHO.
I get Deschutes products at Fred Meyer for $12.99 a 12-pack occasionally. That's for their regular rotation - Black Butte, Mirror Pond, Chainbreaker, River Ale, and Obsidian Stout. When it's not on sale, I think it goes for about $16.99. Right now it's $14.99 - semi-sale.

FBD after a couple mile run is an Odell IPA.

I buy black butte for $8.99 in Longview Texas.
That's why I'm just curious if it's distributor trying to make a couple bucks up front

Nothing like a beer after a good run. I had another good run at lunch today without too much objection from my back.

Beer tastes best after runs or yardwork. But further research is always necessary.

Agreed. There can be no room for doubt.

Absolutely. I've found that a beer even tastes good after cleaning the garage. Whodathunk? I may have to try other scenarios.
This could be a lengthy research project... I wonder if I could get some sort of grant? If I did, I would certainly need other testers. We would have to break it down into tasks, brands, and styles of beer.

I assume that's for a sixer, though. I was talking about 12-pack prices.

No beer till Saturday but I just bought Canebrake for 8.99 at Leblanc's so I am happy. Restocking my beer fridge slowly only to clean it out Friday/Saturday

Beer taste better during relocations as well. I know you can attest to that Jax.
I don't know if it's because the lack of available time to sip, if it's the stress of it, if if it's just the fact that you feel like rewarding yourself for a job well done, or if it's the departing from one area's beer and getting aquatinted with a new area's beer....but it has made the beer taste better.

This would be a dream come true. Getting paid to drink beer. I would do a very good job.

I doubt that's the case.
A distributor doesn't just increase their price without it being influenced by the brewery.
Anyways, all that matters is if the beer is worth the price to you.

Yeah, 6pack. Read your post wrong

Indeed, it would be foolish of us to base our thesis on such a small sample size.

If a 6pack a Canebrake is 10.50 then Envie would be 11.99.... Switching to Sweet Water

I can't count it as my FBD, but I'm finishing off the DFH 75 leftover from last night

2BD-fresh off the truck
Wild Turkey taste comes through, especially as it warms. For a bourbon and beer guy, this will require my hunting some down while I'm in the Big City. Hopefully my credit limit has been upped after yesterday's $500 Smith Street drop. I was embarrassed by what I had to trade with Wiltz, so I overcompensated.
