For a beer that isn't distributed much further than someone can throw it, that's pretty high.. Just MHO.

Marketing/pricing development plan I guess?

1-lock down the local market
2-raise prices on the local market to finance distribution
3-distribute product and absorb distribution cost
4-evolve a distribution wide price that is consistent across the board and get your initial distribution cost absorption back pulse nice margins.

Obviously while growing market share in a wider distribution area.

Doesn't sound too crazy to me.

Yeah Ham, as the long-timers on here know, I tend to do that. I get on a roll with a beer from time to time. Not that there is anything wrong with that! I guess the most intense was the Brooklyn BCS roll the winter of 2011/12.

Eh, I don't know the specifics of Parish's situation, but if what was alluded to earlier about them looking to expand is true, then it's not crazy to raise their price. People will still buy their product if it's good.

And just for comparison, Westbrook isn't distributed very far either. Their IPA six packs are $11.99 and their One Claw/Gose/White Thai six packs are $10.99. I'm a big fan of theirs (if you couldn't already tell by my avi ), but I also enjoy supporting a very good local brewery so the price is right for me to continue to buy their beers.

I would expect yall to feel the same way about supporting Parish if they are doing things the right way and producing great beer.

I don't think I have the palette to be commenting on Sours, but I am really enjoying it. In the last year or so I have opened up to them. Still haven't arrived at how to describe them or really what to look for in the taste.

2BD - Old Raspy, had to tap a new keg for this glass.

I had a feeling you guys were heading to there.

They do a pretty good job there with the limited taps they have.

If it was walking distance I'd walk over right meow! But I ain't wheeling it over there (only though it's only a few miles). And taxi wait times suck arse here!

If ya guys are in town a couple more days we will line up again. Last night was a blast.

What burger did ya go with?
