I can remember watching many a race on Sunday mornings. Nothing pissed me off more than when I checked the TV schedule and saw "grand prix" and woke up early and it was some kind of horse shitz

That THA reminded me that Publix where I used to live had mix-n-match 6 packs for $9.99. Bell's THA was one of the choices. They didn't sell 'em by the six pack, so I had to do a mix-n-match and pick 6 Bells. Still cheaper than Envie...

Still have tentative plans for NewYork/NewJersey next year depending on when they slate it. Still a little up in the air from what I hear.
Yeah. I'll believe it when I see it. Between Montreal and Austin I'll have to make it to one soon.

Montreal would be my choice for race, beer, I guess, would be Austin

FBD: Saucony Creek's Captain Pumpkin's Maple Mistress. This is an "Imperial Pumpkin Ale crafted with butternut squash, maple syrup & spices added."
Definitely an interesting beer. As a connoisseur of maple and pumpkin beers, the two don't work together or this brewery got it wrong. I enjoy that the pumpkin flavor is more "authentic pumpkin" and less on pumpkin pie (Southern Tier) or pumpkin spices (Pumpkinator). The maple flavoring, which I usually love, takes away from it though. It almost makes the beer taste flat (which it isn't).

It isn't terrible, but I won't be purchasing it again. I appreciate the brewery's effort in it and willingness to try something different. I just find the maple in it too be overly sweet.

NBD back at The Woodlands Resort. There wasn't a chance they would match the BB offerings.

wasn't gonna have any beer tonight but the mood suddenly struck.
FBD
Really interesting beer. Hard go pigeonhole this one. Tons of hops right up front with a lot of other stuff going on. This gentleman on BA described it very well:

That is simply what happens when using 5 varieties of malt (and enough of them to boost the alcohol up to 10%) and 10 varieties of hops (enough to punch in over 100 IBUs). The beer, as result, is an abstract blend of acidic citrus, gooey butterscotch, spruce and pine resins, and a whole whack load of dried fruits and herbs that taste as though they've been macerated in some kind of fermented honey.

Last BD-the last Buried Hatchet Stout at the Lobby Bar. Trying to make the best of a bad situation, but I went ugly late, instead of early. Definitely peaked early with the BB5

I'll do my best to deliver the goods. You definitely have to come up for my December tasting. Found out tonight I'll have some Three Floyd's in addition to some Wiltz goodies.

I'll try my darnedest to make it

I'm assuming you have an older bimmer. Those water pumps are garbage. Cheap plastic that wears out. Replacing it is a solid Saturday worth of work. Get yourself a service manual. I have this one for my car. Paid for itself the first DIY job.
2009 X5. I have a service manual similar to what you posted but decided it wasn't worth the hassle to try and fix it myself mainly bc I need my car working tomorrow.
In beer related news, I grabbed some founders backwoods bastard yesterday and that stuff is delicious.
