Escape From Alcatraz is on AMC. Ignoring his Westerns and Dirty Harry films, what are your Top 5? Mine:
1) Grand Torino
2) Escape From Alcatraz
3) Kelly's Heroes
4) Coogan's Bluff
5) In the Line of Fire

Simply no finer film than Any Which Way But Loose.
Maybe Pink Cadillac.

Won't rank them all but of all his 'other' movies I like these best:
Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
The Beguiled
Play Misty for Me
Escape from Alcatraz
In the Line of Fire
Coogan's Bluff
The Eiger Sanction
I'd have A Perfect World at the top but he's not really the star of that movie.

Paint Your Wagon - kind of an obscure gem (and this from someone who is not usually a fan of musicals).

If no westerns (Unforgiven) or D.H., then . . .
Play Misty for Me
The Beguiled (not really a western)
A Perfect World
True Crime
The First Traveling Saleslady

YES! Bird comes behind Unforgiven, but it is up there.

I suspect the OP was referring to acting and not directing.

Just looked at IMDB.
Sonofab*tch he's made a bunch of movies/tv shows in 60 years.
67 acting credits in 58 years.
38 producer credits in 42 years.
36 directing credits in 42 years.
25 "soundtrack" credits, including about a dozen written songs
8 "Composer" credits
(What's interesting about these songwriting/composer credits is that they are almost all in the "other" category of the OP.)
I'm torn between Kelly's Heroes and Heartbreak Ridge as a favorite in the "other" category - if I had to pick, I'll go with Kelly's Heroes - as a bonus, that is Mrs. Midnight's favorite war film.
