Lassiter is the one behind Toy Story and saved Toy Story 2 from being blah...He did much more than that as an Exec. Real strategy / focus behind the scenes guy during all of PIXARs great run...
He also LOVES the old Disney animation studio.
My theory is he felt partially responsible for killing it and is in the process of resurrecting it.
While the stronger child, PIXAR, is going through growing pains....

score was awesome. Kamen and Queen!

camera work contained some of the best shots I have ever seen. the sweeping shot during the last sword fight right when the score changes...was just epic. Tarentino even used the same sillouette lighted backdrop sword fight in kill bill 20 years later. Loved how the film would shift from different timelines by fading into common images or sweeping through a parking deck ceiling right into sixteenth century Scotland.
Just really well crafted for such a fantasy type movie.
And tons and tons of one-liners + Sean Connery playing an Spanish Egyptian
