It's so widespread on this board right now, it's unbelievable.
Anyone else think BAMA wins because Ole Miss beat LSU and BAMA shut out Ole Miss?

I remember one year in the advocate they did some thing like this where they said that we would crust Ohio State in the BCS national championship because we beat X who beat Y who beat Z who beat AA who beat Ohio State, meaning that because of this we would crush OSU.

No.
Too many other factors, a few plays determine big games like this every year.

Transitive property in college football is such a dumb argument.
There are so many factors into a game and team versus team matchup.
Like everyone talking about how shitty Georgia is and we lost to them.
The Georgia team we lost to isn't close to the Georgia team several others played. All of the injuries Georgia has had since our game, etc. changes everything.
It's dumb.

it actually speaks to a larger issue, where Bama played ball control, and effectively made them push when they did have the ball.
Expect a dose of the same from Saban, where they will attempt to eat large portions of clock on large drives, keep our defense on the field, and make the offense feel "rushed"

But, here are other ways to wet one's own pants
- Bama blanked Ole Miss. We were blanked by Bama in 2011, when we had a better team.
- Saban teams always play well after a bye-week. (Don't know if it's true. But you hear it ad nauseam)

I think they beat us because our defense sucks.
Mett has yet to put the team on his shoulders in a big game and win. Les Miles isn't a perfectionist like Saban. etc..etc..etc..etc
