Where did you get those cans? Did they come with the pink colored can holders or is it orange and the photo is throwing me off?

The 6 packs I found in Atlanta all had the pink plastic holders

Congrats on the beer.
But why the eff did Hulk not start today's thread?! I think he landed in San Fran over an hour ago. Ham and I would have been on 12BD by now!
I'm so disappoint.
Also, does a fake mustache affect the taste of beer? I'm wearing one tonight

The wife's brother brought them back for me from Fort Myers the inlaws live there and they were visiting. Yeah the holder is pink.

Interesting....
So true story. The Jai Alai can holders have always been orange that I've seen. That is except for a small pallet of a few dozen Jai Alai cans I spotted on the brewery tour 3 weeks ago. So I asked about the Jai Alai with the blue and pink colored holders. The CCB employee told me the cans were defective in some way like scratched, dented or not completely filled and that the CCB employees got them as freebies since they couldnt be sold. I assumed the different color was indicative of defects.
Thats why my ears perked up when I saw the holder. Sounds to me like CCB has used colors other than orange for distribution and orange at the brewery perhaps..

Mine definitely weren't dented or scratched in anyway.
I was thinking to myself after I poured one the other day that it didn't seem to fill up my glass as much as other beers... I will run a side by side test tomorrow and see if it is indeed a full 12oz

It would be absolutely hilarious if they sent those cans to Atlanta for sale

Well I know from pics that the pink can holders made it to AL and NY as well but it would be interesting if they sent out bad beers to all the states outside of FL
I can say with 100% certainty the jai alai I have had was delish

It would be funny as hell but I'm sure CCB wouldnt do that. They are actually pretty neurotic about quality and I learned recently that a very expensive batch of brew didnt meet qc and they tetu'ed much of it and barreled the rest to see if souring and age will make something tolerable.
The brewery recently added huge additional brewing capacity and most of that is being used for Jai Alai. I'm sure they simply needed additional can holders and orange wasnt available..
