I havent seen one relpy yet say what program since 2005 that they would rather? Or what coach they would hire and get rid of a coach that averages 10+ wins a year?

Saban or Meyer aren't coming to Baton Rouge. So who can you hire, that without hesitation will continue the success we have had?
If all else fails, there are plenty of candidates that average 5 losss per year at mid-level bcs schools that Lsu could look at. After all, that's what miles did before Lsu.
I have a question for you and the rest of the pumpers. Texas is believed to be looking for a new coach after this season. Many consider that the best job in the country. They will likely pay whatever it takes to get who they want.
There's been plenty of talk about Saban, sumlin, Peterson, shaw, strong, briles, etc. I've even seen stoops mentioned. You know the one name I haven't seen mentioned? Les miles. Why do you think that is?

I love Miles more than anybody, and I surely don't want him gone.......but,
I hate that he hasn't been able to out coach or CONSISTENTLY MOTIVATE this or any team. They train all year long for the opportunity to ONLY play 12; maybe 14 games. With those few opportunities to go out and put it all on the field after the whole year of preparation, they sometimes simply don't show up. The play up, they play down but they never dominate for the mere 60 minutes of every game like their talent level should dictate.
The loss to OM was the worse, any of you fools that thought we would win that game easily are retarded. OM plays us like a championship game every yr. Miles knows this and failed to game plan or to motivate the team for a game they thought they would win going away.
I don't like Saban one bit, but I love the fact that he game plans to demoralize the opponents and break their will to play. I wish we did that, and if we did, I assure you we would never have to worry about clock management issues.

They said the same things about Saban as soon as he lost a game at LSU.
It is all about recruiting. LSU has talent but Saban has had #1 recruiting year after year. When he wins any kind of title with say #7 recruiting class I believe it is him.

Saban = gets his players ready to play, regardless of the opponent
Miles = does not
'Nuff said.

It is easy to do that when you have talent advantage at most positions. Why he didn't get them ready to play vs La Monroe or UAB?

Both of those games happened in his first season at a school, before those #1 recruiting classes you previously spoke about started rolling in

Miles haters currently realize his success. We all love how well we have done. However what we hate on Miles for things he continue to do and refuses to change that would make us better. Those things have been pretty obvious and nothing ever changes and they continue to hurt us season after season. Thats where the bitching comes from in my mind.

Yeah...I knew you'd bring up the ONE game from each stint.
Problem is, it happens way too often with Miles. See 1/9 for a reference.

Not to mention both those games were at beginning of each of his tenures as LSU and Bama. Nice try though

What was Saban's record before LSU?

Where exactly have you seen all of this "talk"? Saban, yes. Give me some credible sources for the rest. Your break room at the plant doesn't count as a credible source.
Now please call your MOM. You are embarrassing her with your stupidity. She tried to raise you better.

That is absolutely true about him and it even happens during the game.

You could have said the same thing about Mack Brown 5 years ago when UT lost to Bama in the championship game and look at UT now. I don't want to be UT.

Just under 5 losss per year at mich st, skewed by his last season there of course. Thanks for further proving my point though. There are plenty of good coaches at mid-level schools.

The Internet. The same place you've seen the Saban talk. You really don't realize you just further proved my 2 points you were trying to shoot down, do you?

If coach Nick Saban never coached at LSU , then more fans would be up with Les. People are pissed cause you know who is on the verge of winning 5 national championships.
Of course, Saban's record of 48-16 at LSU clearly indicates he wasn't so perfect after all. The budget and resources Alabama puts into one major sport clearly demonstrates who they are selling their soul . Alabama is a name brand and having Saban and powerful boosters pull in high name recruits. No telling what promises or handshakes go down in the backwoods.

Look, let's think this through logically. Let's start selling booze at the games so it won't matter when Les screws up.

Hah? What about Utah? What about losing to Miles 3 times?

Jesus Christ. You people really think miles is better than Saban.

And now you think the difference in money the school puts toward the football program is the difference?

You good with me and I agree with ur logic many people give saban credit at LSU while his record here wasn't that great...Dinardo started the upward trend with recruiting and ole st. Nick had some unlikely losses...what he is doing at the school east of us is not what he did here....

You make sense but the saban nut suckers can't comprehend it...what he is doing east he didn't do here and there is no proof that he would have.....
