I've seen REK live in Knoxville at Sunday in the city (there version of live after 5 but much better) about 12 years ago. I'm leaning more towards REK to see the venue as well. Plus there will be more trim there I willing to bet

Me and my friends chose Randy. He's will play a longer set, and there will a full harvest of ladies, from both LSU and A&M.

There will definitely be more "trim" at the RRB show. Ladies love Randy.

Wait. That's the night before the east zone opener? Does this mean I gotta pull an all nighter before a quick duck hunt before the A&M game?

No. You can pass out early again, sleep through the concert, and wake up in time to go quack and stack.

REKs recorded material makes one expect a high-energy party-hard type show, but his shows tend to have a more laid back feel. It's not "wrong", it just doesn't exactly matchup with expectations. Now, to Docs point, maybe his shows weren't always like this.
The RR crowd will have more energy, likely be younger, and have a better gender balance.
Not sure what I'd choose.

REK. More trim will be at Lauberge that night due to Kelly Picker playing. Does anyone know if she opens for REK or does he open for her?

FWIW, huge RRB fan but his last album is the gayest album ever. Leave Nashville

Agreed. REK is by far a more talented musician, no doubt about it. I have seen both in concert, Randy like 3 or 4 times. And this is coming from a huge Randy Rogers fan. The thing that separated this decision, for me, is location. The varsity will be packed full of drunk college kids after a huge football game. On the other hand, REK will be playing on an outside stage in a huge area with easy access to the bar.
