Why can't they just pick their game the week of? They put these two crappy teams on but they haven't been to us since the first year they broadcasted games

Cause they always pick 1 Cenla game and it ALWAYS has ASH in it. Regardless of record, ASH is always in it.

Should have come to Peabody/Deridder next week. Deridder #8, Peabody 2 spots out the poll, both should be 7-1 going into next weeks District Championship game.

Cenla is just a part of Louisiana as any other part. 1 game out of 10 should not be a problem. If you wanna complain, get basketball on tv and be up here about 15 Fridays out of the 3 month regular season. Otherwise, let it go that your school ain't been on there even when you were relevant.

Why is Cenla so bad at football? I can't remember a single legit team from Cenla...ever.

JJ ... Leesville played in the 1995 4A championship game against Salmen with Cecil Collins. That was probably the last Cenla power. Unfortunately, when Fort Polk changed divisions from an infantry base to a training base, the influx of older Army kids slowed down. As for other Cenla teams, they have skill players, but it's the kids in the trenches they don't consistently produce for some reason. The Leesville team in 2008 probably would have advanced past the second round had they had linemen to go along with Michael Ford, Travante Stallworth, Levander Liggins and Je'Ron Hamm.

Aight. Just saying the population isn't as disproportionate as the product on the field. There should be SOMETHING come out if the area every few years.

Winnfield and Many have probably been the most relevant lately in football.

ASH went to third round two years ago.

That's about it lately. More basketball up here.

He is a pretty good player, and they have a good defense. The downfall is offensive line play and special teams. I think they may be better off not punting at all.

Cenla. 3-4A alone hosted 4 first round games last year. Had 3 teams ranked all year. Natch Central are usually good boys and girls. There have been many good laege and small programs in this area over especially the last 5 to 10 years
