Does anybody else prefer Reggie to Tiny Darren?

I realize its rather become common knowledge that Sproles is a superior weapon to Bush, but I'm not entirely sure I agree. With Reggie you always had that stigma of being a high draft pick, and I think that was held against him unfairly. Sproles had the advantage of stepping in seamlessly, and therefore he was more appreciated from day 1.
With all things being equal I'd rather have Reggie - anyone out there agree? I like Hummingbird legs Darren but like Reggie more.

sproles is doing what Reggie wished he could do

Reggie turned the ball over too much

Oh hey... It's you.

I think it's about a push tbh. Sproles came at a lower price point so he was the more attractive option at the time. Reggie is a fine player though.

I just wish we would have given Reggie the opportunity to bulk up and be an every down back like he is now.

I think a better question is whether anybody prefers Tangerine over Alejandro as annoying troll who creates alters.

Reggie by far a better player

I prefer Sproles with our system but am happy for Reggie's success. Plus factor in cost. It wasn't the best fit for him and he went out and proved himself worthy of more carries. One of those few scenarios where everyone should be happy to me.

I never hated Bush either, but Sproles is:
Cheaper
Less injury prone
and doesn't fumble as much

I remember Drew Brees telling my nephew at training camp that no one worked harder than Reggie to prepare for the season. He caught a lot of crap he didn't deserve here. I am so glad he was able to move on. He's worth every penny he's paid.

I will take Sproles every time. Draft status not withstanding, Reggie had a terrible habit of running east/west and dancing behind the line tryin to score a TD every play as opposed to just hitting the hole and getting the yards.
Oh, and Sproles has fewer injuries and turnovers.
Pretend this saints didnt take him at #2 and he didnt have all the hype an he probably would have gotten half the touched he did here. Payton forced the ball to him at times and it showed.
He may have outgrown that by now but I haven't cared enough to watch since he left New Orleans
I never had anything against him. He simply wasn't anything special and at time was more of a liability than a weapon

I loved having Reggie. But the difference between he and sproles is, sproles take what the defense gives him and protects the football. Reggie tried to turn every play into the big play and had costly fumbles.

There's some truth to that.

However, that's just absurd. Sproles has out performed him (and I liked Reggie).
