My wife and I just watched it as well. Very well written, the pace was perfect. It did a very nice job on answering questions at just the right time.

What city was this supposed to be, Pittsburgh or Philly?

Good movie so far. Not an Emma Watson fan but whatever. Movie has ultra liberal hipster vibe.

Fun(ish-not really, oh well) Fact: all of the actors never had the chance to go to their own high school prom, so when filming they all got to experience a prom together.

It does a really good job of making you understand a really depressed and tormented kid's point of view, while still keeping it slightly upbeat. Parts of that movie make me want to put headphones in, turn on a great song, and just go lay in the grass and stare at the sky. I know it sounds seriously cheesy, but it actually does a good job of capturing that feeling.
