Who gives a shite? That's the equivalent of you getting a speeding ticket. He's probably spent twice that in a night at the clubs.

quote:You're missing the point. It's like getting a speeding ticket while not speeding. Obviously I don't give half a frick if Jenkins has to pay it, but it's the principle.

The fine is BS, and I hope Jenkins lays another bitch out next game.

Saints need to be careful. This corrupt garbage of the league is against them and will look to call anything and everything.

Except he was "speeding" in today's NFL. The argument being made is "yes, I was speeding, but so was he"...which happens all the time. Bottom line is dude doesn't miss any playing time, which is all that matters. I guarantee this fine pisses you off more than him.

better example would be he was speeding, got caught, and he got another ticket for not pulling over fast enough.

He barely grazed his helmet. Is there a rule I don't know of where the defender can't even touch the helmet?
It's the equivalent of getting a ticket for reckless driving when a millimeter of the outside of your tire touches the center line.

It was a legal hit. He just hit him hard. WTF is that? How is he suppose to play defense? He does everything right and still get's screwed over. That hit caused an incompletion. It was a great play. The BS flag extended the drive.

Malcolm Jenkins ?@MalcolmJenkins 17 Oct
If you had to guess, how much $ does the NFL make per week from player fines? I keep hearing it all goes to charity I need a receipt!
Oh well no crying over spilled milk...

Ref grades changedFining Jenkins provides an "aura" of accuracy to the performance of the refs in that game. Nothing more than a cover up. If ref grades can get changed, it's easy to see that the NFL can influence referee calls....

it wasn't enough to screw us within the confines of an hour of playing time. had to get in some residual abuse. unreal.

How? I mean I love the Saints too, but a hit above the shoulders is a hit above the shoulders, no matter how you slice it.

except that looking at the replay, 90% of the impact hit the dude in the chest....Jenkins aimed for the chest, got chest and part of the face mask with the shoulder pad...oh well, it's over...on to next week.
