If the original X-Men were caught in a Donner Party situation, do you think they would eat Beast first or Angel's wings? This question is anachronistic.
Also, Wolverine could just cut off bits of his own flesh to cook. Deadpool did that in Uncanny X-Force to help heal Angel.

I started reading in the late 80's when this guy first appeared:
So I was pretty pumped when the new Xforce, that you're waiting on book 1 of, came out.
That's why I love/little bit hate Remenders epic story since it ended with...well you know.
