On Finebaum, about 4:51p.m.

Les is willing to play different styles of football (passing attack, physical running game); this is an indication that he thinks he has a team that can win a championship.

Danielson is just trying to hype the Bama/LSU game because he knows he will be calling the game.

I think Les thinks that every year or at least the past several years. I know thats sure what majority of the fanbase expect nowadays. Danielson is just says things just to say it, with that comment. Possibly hyping up the CBS primetime matchup.

Why does anyone listen to Finebaum? Don't feed the troll.

I don't think Les' motives revolve around Bama (too much), but I do agree that the coaches this year are comfortable calling many different types of games depending on what is needed because they are very confident that they can win with any offense required.

LSU will have to go back to that passing attack against Alabama. That style they played against Fla will not work. Saban has always made his defenses strong against the run. The last two games is all Miles needs to refer to. Mettenberger had his finest game last season passing on them and I do not see why it shouldn't continue.

Any team worth a shite does this, it's called balanced offense. After 2007 we quit doing it.

Danielson consistently says what he thinks. Two years ago he was vilified by the callers on fbaum for going against Bama. Danielson gonna Danielson.

I think Danielson sees LSU as a legit contender and he'd be a moron not to.

Of course Les is giving Saban more to think about. And Saban will do the same. It's called gamesmanship.

Les knows that he has a championship caliber team this year. Hell, he believes that he has a championship cal team nearly every year and the Tigers have only barely lost out on winning around five more crystals since he has been here. To say that he has been in the hunt is an understatement.

Of coarse he thinks that he has a champ cal team.

1) those things aren't mutually exclusive. 2) we've done both in a game before. if you want a good example, see.... LAST YEAR'S BAMA GAME.

Mett throws for almost 300 yds
Hill has 30 carries for over 100 yds

Saban knows what's coming, and he knows we do it better than last yr. can his boys hold us outta the end zone again this yr is the question.

I just hope he doesn't try to go in that game and out-smart himself like he did on 1/9.

Everyone knew we were going to try the option. Saban/Greg Williams was ready for it. We did not have a backup plan. We got torched.

Bottom line, just play your game with a few extra wrinkles. Make them stop the offense you've had the most success with first. Then you we should have another major change if it isn't working. But, I just hope he doesn't take this run right at you mentality if it's not working.

Saban is thinking about the "secret playbook" that Cam hasn't used yet

I think Les is trying to do whatever it takes to win the game they are playing that week!
Danielson said in game that LSU running attack is taking advantage of undersized Gator linebackers.
Just shows the versatility of the LSU offense right now.
It will be nice to see this against Bama because they have been fairly one dimensional last few years (yes, last year Mett was awesome, but they didn't let him pass it when it mattered most)

Les is gonna Les against 'Bama. Don't expect a passing frenzy from Cam.
