Yea, the character of Bran is an effeminate whiny little bitch, so I guess the actor is good at his job

I think it'll be heavily Kings Landing - Tyrion/Sansa & Jaime/Cersei, The Wall- Jon, and Essos - Dany. Bran, Theon, Stannis, and Arya's stories will be cut down a lot to make room for some of the newer characters they'll be throwing into the mix in these main 3 locations.

So how long will we be waiting for season four to come? I'll just spend time asking here instead of spending the exact same amount of time googling and actually finding out myself.

That's too long.

Absolutely nothing for what Book Readers have experienced. The first 3 books, he wrote with a gap of like two years between each novel. Then the 4th book took 5 years, and then he promised that Book 5 would only take another year to be released. Instead the a-hole waits another 6 fricking years to release the book. And we have no clue when Book VI is going to be released, which means the Book Readers will likely soon begin getting spoiled by the show.

There is a story coming up next season that at least in the novels was boring as frick and I would always skip these chapters on rereads. You all know what I am talking about.
I definitely know which one you're talking about . I plan on skipping over that in my next reread.
Also:
quote:
1) Arya and The Hound on a journey now
2) Jamie and Cersei(sp?) have reunited
3) Jon Snow and the snow
3) Bran's new special powers and the annoying other kid with him
4) OSHA, the other Stark boy, samwell, and his girl and baby.
5) Tyrian and Sansa
6) my wife and her dragons
7) Tywin and his dominance. Maybe Joffrey in the same story line or Joffrey and his wife as a seperate one?
8) Stannis baratheon and the red devil lady I really really hate
9) No nutts being held captive. I actually feel really bad for theon
Are there any story lines you could do without?
I'm not crazy about Bran, his buddy, samwell and his girl. I'm sure Bran will play a big role in the scheme of things, but it's just not that interesting. Stannis and the red lady could go as well. Other than that, all the story lines are kind of jam up.
All I'm gonna say, is Season 4 is going to blow your mind. It's going to be that amazingly great to watch. Support your newfound love of GoT by reading all 5 books before March 30th; trust me, it's doable.

Don't be an a-hole.
how can you talk about future storylines and doing away with any and not get a hint of spoilers?
This thread is dumb as frick if my vague stuff was spoilers.

Does R.R. Martin look to you like someone who takes a walk every day and eats plenty of veggies? At this rate there's no way he's going to finish this series before he drops dead of a heart attack.
Meanwhile, I find Samwell Tarly to be annoying. I could do with a lot less of him in the future, thanks.

His health is definitely concerning. I don't understand how someone with that much money can let himself go like that. Seriously. He should go get a lapband or gastric sleeve.

The only one I really got bored with is gone this season.
Posted on 10/15/13 at 7:04 am to iwyLSUiwy
Theon is the only one I see that can be dropped but I imagine he comes into play later on so I doubt dropping him now makes sense.
Every other storyline has something to offer and will end up converging with others most likely.

Definitely agree. We'll have to see what happens in book 6.

Watching it on HBOgo with the special features is pretty awesome.
It mentioned during the scene where Arya and the butchers boy were fighting with the wooden sticks and queer face comes in and cuts his face and proceeds to puss out to a kid, that it was the scene that sealed the fate for Sansa. Really that was the scene that sparked all the drama between the family. Sansa took Joffreys side an Ned lost any feeling he had for the Lannisters because he had to go kill the dire wolf.
Didn't think about how important that scene was until watching it the second time with the extra features.

Bran's storyline makes me physically ill when it appears onscreen. I would LOVE to see him go and possibly fat boy as well.

The special features are really neat, and definitely give non-readers good information/backstory and it helps out the book readers on remembering/recalling key facts.
