And kept the clock running ....... Better for us obviously to anyone who knows anything about football

Does that really surprise you?

I. Said it as soon as it happened, WTF. My lady was like naaaah he caught that, it just looked close. I said, frick no. Sure enough, ball hits the ground. I don't see how that gets ruled a catch and how we didn't challenge

Lol that ended up helping the Saints.

didn't hit the ground... hit the player's ankle and he took it up from his ankle, not the ground

It kept the clock running. it worked out in our favor.

Tons of horrible calls and equally horrible non-calls(Galette on the last play). Bad ref game.

no it hit his leg and he held it against his leg never hit the ground, plus they didn't get a first down so it would have made no difference.

How can we challenge with no timeouts
Posted on 10/13/13 at 6:50 pm to Celjun
okay.... I still feel like shite.

Ask yourself what is more important in that situation, 4 yards or the clock running. You keep your mouth shut and your hands in your pockets if you are on the Saints sideline there.

Everyone during that game not part of the Saints was rooting for those fricks. frick them and NFL.

Stupid post. It helped us. The clock kept running. Plus it was the right call because the ball hit the receivers foot. It never hit the ground.

Dude I'm not saying it didn't help us but it does underline the ineptitude of the officials. Btw I re-watched it a couple of times and it obviously hit the ground..
