Without going into too much detail I will just say that we are close. I don't get to chat with him as much as I used to but I have known him for a very long time. I just get tired of seeing people with no clue disrespect the guy out of nothing more than spite and envy. The facts are simple. He works for the largest media outlet in the state and was hand picked by a former LSU player for the position. I'm pretty sure he had to have some really good relationships and knowledge to get to that point with a very limited media background. I wish him the best and I feel that we should appreciate people like him instead of bash him or ridicule without cause. Thats just my take but what do I know?

seems mean, but it happens all the time and is just how it goes. I choose to blame the NCAA! but whatever, this is one of those where if LSU has a spot and Gage stays on his own recruitment (yes, sometimes these kids have to sell themselves) he'll likely get an offer.

I completely understand your post and somewhat agree. Some will come on here to discount him because some of the more "well known/cool" posters have in the past. It seems to make people think that discounting him will give them some sort of credibility.
Now, I won't take anything one person/coach says as gospel. You take all info out there and form your own educated opinion.
With that said, he gives great info considering it's free.
