What about basing it in Ed Gein's hometown in Wisconsin.

And integrate that story! That would be fun. I love the little bits of history you get. Even if they are somewhat skewed.

If it hadn't already been done and called the Shining that haunted hotel in Colorado would be a great setting.
Maybe do something involving Roanoke colony. Croatoan.

How awesome would Eric Stonestreet be as like a warped version of JWG in a carnival theme?

I like the idea of Roanoke colony. I remember the reference in the first season and I thought season 2 might go with that. To integrate it into today maybe have archaeologist go there and all sorts of crazy shite happens. Sorta incorporates my Native American idea as well.

Basically summed up my thoughts.

How about an ole fashioned werewolf story in a cut off town in the middle of the woods, like Silver Bullet.
I think the simpler creepier stories are the best. Let the tension and mystery build and ANY scary story could be good.

Meh, I hope they steer clear of werewolves and vampires.

FYI, I'm not talking about queer werewolves like on twilight...
I'm talking about the LEGIT lone 1980's Werewolf. Just one, smart, very powerful beast stalking people.

Yeah. Maybe a part of the country that for some reason houses all of these monsters. Like maybe a large wooded area in the northwest. I'm sure the producers and writers can come up with some reason for them being there better than I can
Sounds like a Fringe episode.

A good ol ghost story is always good. A harsh winter setting might be good like in Montana or the Dakotas.

Vampires are completely overdone, so I'm in agreement. I'm sure they will touch on it at some point, though.
They've covered ghosts, demonic possession, serial killers, aliens, and now witches so there's only so many more place they can go if they want to mix it up.
I do like that they go to different parts of the country--West coast, Northeast, and now the South. I'm feeling like Texas is next. Anybody know of any good legends from out that way?

Maybe they could do a Western setting in Texas, back in the late 1800s?
Not really sure what else they could do there.

I like the western idea. That could be cool.
With Roanoke, I guess it could be cool, but that story is so silly I couldn't take it seriously. The pilgrims went and lived with the Indians. They didn't disappear. They left their shitty town

To the Native American stuff, a trail of tears theme could be cool.

I like the devil worshiping cult idea. Think Rosemary's baby with deeper/more storylines.

That would be absolutely legit. There's some seriously messed up stuff in Native American lore.

Agreed, but Roanoke is not
