According to my math, it would take 4 full days to watch the whole series.

Season 2 Episode 3
God damn, I cant stop watching this thing. The more that keeps getting introduced and linked together, the more answers I want. My opinions havent changed much on the characters. I absolutely love the Jack/Locke thing going on. Why everyone is connected on the plane is going to drive me crazy

Ok seriously Shannon needs to die already. All of this time spent on her backstory and complaining about not being independent or important is pathetic

I know right?! If only she wasnt a bitch, needy, useless, and annoying.

What is her character doing at the moment? I want to say one of the reasons why I hate her but I don't want to spoil anything and I don't know what part you're at.

100% Serious. It requires lots and lots of dedication. I had just come off a rough semester of lots of reading and writing in school and needed to just let my brain go for a while. On the weekends I would spend the entire day and night watching. Wife loved those two weeks.

Season 2 Episode 17
They have figured out who Henry Gale is, so it seems likely that he knew what to do with the computer/hatch to free the doors. Also, it is obvious that dharma knows people are still there since we see the supply drop. And if the flashbacks from Claire are right, that means "the others" are phonies and seem like they are another hatch in the project.

Season 4 Episode 5
I have started to lose interest even while trying to finish all the seasons. At this point they have taken the chopper back to the freighter and had Kates flashback about aaron and getting free. Its like they completely forgot about the island and all its mysterious ways/black smoke. Everything is now about Ben and the scientists who flew there. The flash-forwards now seem to give away who dies/lives.
Please tell me I get answers to things like Jacob, black smoke, polar bears, and the rest of the Dharma stuff they seem to have completely abandoned.

You'll get some answers, but probably not as many as you are hoping for.

Then what is the point of having all of these subplots besides creating more episodes?

Somebody's been hitting the Lost pipe hard the last week or so.

Not everything is answered, but a lot of stuff is though. A lot of times people just gripe about "unanswered shite," when in actuality, lots of things were answered...people just didn't like the answers that were given.
Also, I don't remember exactly, but I feel like you should've already had an explanation for the polar bears. Maybe not though. Everything you listed specifically is explained though.

Yeah I dont do anything at work
Just get frustrated when they introduce something then dont go back to it for half the season. I do like how there is always a new hot girl every couple of episodes. Juliette

This is a good point too.

I expect you'll be pissed several times during the rest of the series, but if you just approach it from an entertainment angle (as opposed to a "I need answers!" angle), then you'll enjoy it.
The "questions" used to bug me a little back in the day when it was airing, but it never got in my way of enjoying the show. So I was at peace with things that never were addressed, and thought the show ended fantastically.
Also, a lot of people griped about "unimportant" things/plots during the last season or two, but that's one thing that I noticed when I rewatched the series...very little of that bothered me since I was watching them so quickly. And my gf didn't mind either. So you should be fine.

Im just very detail oriented and this show is unlike any I have seen about subplots. Keeps me guessing/entertained for sure, but its like I never know whats going on.

I agree with cokes..if you just look at is as an entertaining TV show you'll be good. There are a few things that don't get answered, but only one thing off the top of my head that would be considered more than trivial. It was frustrating that it didn't get addressed more, but most of the other things that people had/have questions about are so minor and insignificant in the grand scheme of the show it's not even worth worrying about.
After the series finale was over, there was no part of me that said "I'd have liked the show better if only they had answered this or talked more about that" or anything like that.
