In the student section... LSU '87-'92

I remember being frustrated for most of the game. Seemed like the LSU offense couldn't move the ball at all against a fierce-some Auburn defense. Until that last drive.

I think the crowd was extra loud on that TD because of the frustration we were all feeling for most of the game.

I had a good view of the play and distinctly remember the relief I felt when EF caught that pass. Yeah, I was drunk and I hollered loudly and stomped my feet on the bleachers.

I was also smoking cigarettes, AT MY SEAT, the entire game. THE HORROR!!!!

I wasn't there. I watched the game in auburn with a bunch of auburn fans. After the game I drove to Toomer's Corner waving my LSU flag out the window. Several auburn fans saw me and were shocked to see an LSU fan there. I had just transferred to their pharmacy school. I was elated when Fuller caught the pass.

Freshman year...student section...5th row in the corner. Those seats are so low that I think the only play I saw clearly the whole game was the TD....but it was worth it. I will never forget that moment. Lots of yelling, screaming, celebrating with strangers, and dodging liquor bottles being thrown from above!

I've never asked this question but every time I see this clip I see a black man wearing a ball cap and head phones in the stands. He looks like Otis Washington, the head coach of Southern at the time. Does anyone know if that was him?
