The Finance department is so skewed towards investing/financial adviser coursework that it really turns me off. I strongly prefer a corporate finance angle to a finance concentration and I am doubtful on whether SMU is strong enough there. I know the accounting side of the house feeds in well into the finance concentration, but I've taken plenty of accounting courses and have no desire to take more.

I'm looking at a dual concentration in Marketing and Analytics. Not sold on getting a degree in marketing when most of the material is content that I already know given professional experience.
