He is in almost every offensive snap except maybe when we are going to run the ball. What do you expect him to line up as a DT? Do you want him as tailback instead of Hill?
seriously man........SERIOUSLY!

FWIW, I was thinking we need 11 Landry's on defense plus the one wearing #80. But I was just talking about his heart and give a damn. You're literally talking about Landry (the actual guy wearing #80) playing a larger role than he already does?? He's our most TARGETED receiver as well as our leading receiver.

Maybe he can spell Hill since Magee and Blue seem to fumble occasionally.

Dude is a threat to take it to the house every time he's back there. Almost broke one on Georgia. And people are ready to hit the panic button when one mistake happens.

I am not blaming Beckham for the loss. Beckham is talented just not as talented as Landry. If a team scores 40+ points, they should win. This loss is due mostly to our defensive effort. But, in reference to Beckham, I am talking about the season. He made a one handed catch of a touchback for a kickoff, and some fans worshipped him. These same fans ignore the facts that his hands have butterfingers each and every game. BTW, Landry makes those one hand touchback catches in his sleep. I just think that Landry needs to be the number 1 target on designated plays.

Well drops happen. Even Landry has had a few drops in earlier games.

well Landry probably would be the answer to our problems at safety and no doubt OBJ would make a great cover corner. Just not sure they have the stamina to go both ways.

Beckham's dropped punt was a turning point of the game

While it was a huge momentum shift in the game, our defense was pourous yesterday. GA played pitch and catch all day long but it also helps when you have a qb as good as Murray is. Our DB's are young but they will get better over time.

Tell me this though, were you calling for Landry to return punts when OBJ was returning them for TD's a couple games back?

on a more serious note, Landry would be just as good a punt returner as OBJ, both are very talented.

Landry is the only consistent receiver on this team. Beckham's dropped punt was a turning point of the game. We need Landry back there to return punts and kickoffs. Does LSU owe Beckham anything? It just seems that LSU will continue to target Beckham more than Landry especially on the deep ball and red zone opportunities. LSU needs to make Landry the GO TO guy, not Beckham.

What did I just read? YOUR stupid.

:seewhatididthere:

Unbelievable. This board is damn near unbearable during football season.

You want Landry to replace Beckham on punt returns and kickoffs. But Landry is not a return guy. Beckham is and will remain because he's good at like previous LSU returnman, all of whom do it well in the NFL. Beckham will to. I will tell you what Landry is and that is a great possession receiver who will be one also in the NFL. He lets nothing keep him from catching a ball like a Colston. And he is thrown to much more often than any other wideout. So I don't know what more you want??

If it ain't broke then don't fix it! Give some suggestions for the defense because everyone knows that Chief reads these posts.

Landry may flirt with some all time records. I'm not sure his workload can be increased

I think Beckham ends up with more yards and "Juice" with more Tds.
