True.
But, if his dumbass keeps on wearing it, the NFL will turn fines to games.

Bush kept getting fined for wearing the gold Adidas in 06. No suspensions.

People saying UA will pick up the fine, but Auburn actually will. that was a bonus they told cam.
"if you come to auburn we wont only pay you we will pay off any fine u get once you go pro."

Such a waste of money. I understand as long as they're playing $10k is nothing for them. But what a waste of money that most of them will need when they retire because you're so damn stubborn that you have to keep wearing something you're not supposed to.

Mike Vick wore socks that weren't approved by the NFL for an entire season in Atlanta and was fined every single week for it.

I see nothing wrong with the fine. If I don't abide by my work contract they might do more than fine me

His insubordination will lead to suspensions.
Would EA pay him his gamechecks?

Considering the fact it would be virtually impossible to tell he was wearing them if attending the game or watching on TV this is dumb.
I mean it's as innocuous as it gets, the logo is even the same color as the clip. NFL does a lot more stupid stuff than this though so it's really no big surprise.

because this is the type of violation that results in suspensions...

There is a reason some are turning on the NFL. Sad.
Actually, no.
By fining the player, NFL is in essence charging UA for the advertising they are getting. Providing they pay the fine (which they will).

Lol at the people that think this will lead to a suspension

What exactly is the extent of these rules? I always see players wearing UA gloves and cleats. Those logos are much more visible

Not to worry about Scam. I'm sure Auburn University will pay his fine. 10k is pocket change to them.

You get fined for wearing UA gloves etc unless you have a contract. If you don't you must cover logo.
As far as protective you can only show Riddell. That's why they started making bumper stickers.
I always covered Schutt, AHI, Air when I was at SMS since I was getting paid to use their stuff and they gave us signage and gear.
Why do you think P. Manning went to Reebok in middle of his career?
Puma was the one supplier that allowed teams to negotiate own, but they only had 1 year deal.

And that's the point! They are makin money from repping them and the NFL (Goodell) is being a bitch as usual by doing crap like this. You wanna fine someone for makin extra money on the side while the got damn NFL reeks cash in from all over the place. I would take his arse the court for that, but it'll probably be a waste of time.
