From that nfl.com article. LINK
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the sum total of Hill's "issues" is that he got a bj from a 17yo and he hit a guy at a bar?
Grrr.
Am I missing anything? Because the hatchet job being done on Hill is ridiculous.

Well it's true. Plus I'm pretty sure the girl was closer to 15 or something.

I'd say being on probation and having a curfew are off field issues

Ok, he was 17 she was 14?
I'm still not sure how much that changes the equation. I knew there was an over-age/under-age issue, but thought maybe it was he was 18 or 19 and she was 17.

Talking to people I know that go to and went to Redemptionist
He and a friend for head from a freshmen. Her mom found out, she pulled the "rape" "oh he pressured me card"
Everyone at the school was upset with the bitch. He was a senior, she was a freshman. She willingly gave him head. People, get over it.

Given the issues, though, are they headline issues or fourth paragraph issues?
Why does this crap show up at the beginning of every Jeremy Hill story?

FWIW, yes, Jeremy Hill's oral battery charge happened while he was still in high school. LSU stopped recruiting him in his senior year because of this, and he actually had to sit out a year and do the recruiting process over because of it.
Miles waited until he was sure his legal problems were in order before he even started recruiting Hill again.
And yes, the "fight" earlier this year amounted to exactly ONE (1) punch, thrown at a drunken frat boy who had egged Hill on.
Ironically, the frat boy was not even fazed - he got right back up after "the punch" and started up again! (of course, this was NEEEEEEVER brought out in the media or in the courts).
Hill paid for it by sitting out the spring, paying the legal fees, perform several hundred hours of community service, and is essentially bound to school and the practice field for an extended period.
And actually, Hill gives very intelligent, unassuming, humble, and very coherent interviews if you listen to him; which I'm sure he'll be doing plenty of this year.......
