What would you want for Charles?

Tuck, I'd be more than happy to help you in your WR situation. You shouldn't have to settle for inferior WRs when you trade Charles. Justin Blackmon will take away all of your worries.

Unfortunately, no one will want to give up what I will require for the top RB in the league. The reason he will be expensive is because he will finish the top RB in the league and it probably won't be that close. I know, big talk, right? But let me explain briefly...First, he's a great RB. Second, he plays a bunch of terrible teams. Third, the terrible teams he plays also have terrible run defenses. And finally, he's not in a time share. He gets almost all the touches and tons of passes out of the backfield. He's money in the bank as long as he is playing relatively injury free.

At the beginning of the draft, I had Charles #1 overall. Would I have been brave enough to pick him at 1? I don't know, I doubt it. I would have to go with history and just picked ADP. But in terms of talent and schedule, Charles scenario is absolutely perfect. I really can't remember reviewing a RB's schedule pre-draft and thinking, wow, this guy's going to blow up. I have to admit that the one who tipped me off to Charles schedule was one of the no-name guys in the hundreds of "fantasy experts" out there. I don't even remember who it was that said it (probably more than one). But after I reviewed what he already indicated, I believed he was right and more importantly was prepared to get him at all costs, even if I didn't get him in the draft (which I was 100% would not happen). That's why when he and Richardson fell to me I was in such a dilemma. I fully intended on taking T Rich expecting Charles to not be there. I went with my head instead of my heart on that one and it looks like my head has been right so far.

The pick kind of messed me up a bit. My draft picks weren't anywhere near what I had done in my mocks. I was so excited about him falling to me that I kind of got off kilter a bit later in the draft. The Brady/Witten picks would have never happened if I would have gotten anyone else. But I'm digressing...

Those are the reasons Jamaal Charles is so expensive and more than likely no one will want to give up what will be required. I know it may be ridiculous, but I'm not giving him up for pennies on the dollar when I know how much he's really worth. Someone may be able to do it (you know, have the numbers and players necessary for it not to hurt too badly to part with them), but would they be willing to do it? It will be interesting to see.
