The combination of the arrogance of Gump fans with Saban has put them atop the most hated list.
I have to live with these people 365.
Had brief periods of disdain for Barners no doubt, but can at least appreciate their hatred for gumps now.

Bama falls in two categories for me. Their real fans that are invested in the school are great fans. Their sidewalk Walmart frontrunner Finebaum calling fan base is just the worst.

And fwiw, I grew up respecting Bama. Believed that our "stature" in the college football world was tied to theirs.
Even after I moved here in late 90s, I could still respect them
That all changed with hire of little Nicky and more importantly, their attitude about it.

Ole Miss Hate their arrogant asses - fratty frat swoop haircuts, uptight wannabees. it also is sickening that the one year out of every 10 they dont suck, they pound their chest.[See SEC west 2003 champions banner in oxfart stadium]

I have a really strong dislike for Auburn and Bama. Auburn, much for the same reasons as the OP. Bama because I live in Louisiana and have several friends that pull for Bama, even though they have never lived anywhere close to that state.

Graduated in 1980 . . . hated Alabama the most back then and still do today.
When the Tigers under Jerry Stovall defeated Alabama in Tuscaloosa Nov. 6, 1982 and ended an 11 game losing streak, it was the single most uplifting moment in my life regarding LSU v. Alabama.
With what Saban pulled two years ago to get into the BCS for a "second chance" game kept the wounds open for a long time.
Their fans are the most ignorant, retarded tea bagging a-holes in the conference. And this was echoed by my friends from the PAC-12, Big East and ACC that went with me to the BCS at the Rose Bowl when Alabama played Texas.
Besides the weather, one of the few things I like about California is there are very few Alabama alumni out here. Good thing, because there are enough f*#ked up people out here.

Don't hate them. Hate is an emotion normally associated with losers (i.e., those who lose to other teams and resort to "hating" them as compensation). Don't hate. Life is too short. Especially when simply beating the sh*t out of them is so much more satisfying than hating.

I could never pull for Auburn or aTm under any circumstances.
I have respect for Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Missouri are really non-factors.
Tennessee and Arkansas are well Tennessee and Arkansas.
There are teams in Mississippi?

I hate all teams that are a threat to us (on the field and recruiting). Forget SEC loyalty as well. I pull against SEC teams in bowl games that, as I've already stated, are a threat to us. Its an arms race, pure and simple. We win it or we lose it.

I hate all things Alabama all of the time even in the off season. The other SEC schools I only hate the week we play. That is the difference of hate level for me.

In the late 80's a drunk AU student pushed my Grandmother to the ground as we were walking to our seats in Jordan Hare. I have hated them ever since.
