We have some improvements to make on defense. We played quite a few true freshman on defense who need some more reps. So, I'm hoping we'll improve. We still think we'll have a pretty good season. Congratulations on the Kent State win. Our November game will be fun.

I disagree. A&M has no run defense or pass defense for that matter. We can outscore them if necessary - just like Alabama did. We also play A&M at home.

On the other side Ala. is for REAL once again. They have solid offensive line although A&M is no benchmark as we all saw on Sat. We also play Ala. at their place.

Ole Miss is looking better and better. They will be a challenge in the West as well. Just got to play the games one at a time.... Too many good teams in SEC west: Ala, A&M, LSU, and Ole Miss along w Miss St., Auburn, and Ark. Very challenging.

Do you at least take solace in how terrible A&M's D is?

Our defense and the chief is better equipped to handle aTm and JF. Plus we get them at home.

The defense will improve through all the competition at DB and LB.

Their offense is scary good. All LSU can hope is to slow them down and get some TO, and run it down their throats. But Little Nickies arrogance gets in is his way. He kept playing man with his corners and getting burned by the same routes.

I'm not concerned. They will lose at least another SEC game before us, probably Ole Miss. No defense will end is disaster for the Aggies.

I disagree, if the defense doesn,t improve greatly we will still loose 3 or 4 games. Lsu defense for some reason has forgotten how to tackle.

Did any one of yaw watch the game.First I beleave you will not see LSU defense till this week they have been practice games and prety good ones for that mater. So just chill on defense and enjoy what could be one of the great seasons in LSU football.Yaw should do just what I hope the team dose and enjoy every game one week at the time.GEAUX TIGERS

I notice yall keep harping about all the yards that Bama gave up to A&M. Bama's secondary is young, and I think if they played that game later in the season, A&M wouldn't put up as many yards.

Texas A&M will be much harder to beat than Bama. TAMU's defense is young and improving. Bama's defense just sucks.

LSU's offense will be a difference maker this season

When you consider our offense at times last season was non-existent, you have to be excited with the prospect that this season we seem to have the capability to strike at any time. Over the past several years, teams feared LSU for our defense- now our offense will strike fear in others, and the D is not exactly something to overlook either...

I am starting to become nervously, worried about the Ole Miss game than Bama or aTm. Ole Miss always gives us close games.
