T. Boone is smarter than that. He's not going to be involved in this day-to-day piss ant crap. It's beneath a man of his means. If T. Boone is cheating, he's doing so through proxies and has turned it into almost an art. You can guarantee the stuff mentioned in this article pales in comparison to the things they were giving their players who were actually good.

Pickens would sue SI because the info is so weak. That's why they kept these booster names a mystery or used a dead person.

The biggest amount mentioned was paid to a dead guy. Strange coincidence.

I'd love to hear what T. Boone is going to say about this.

Sounds like a few $100 handshakes and some butthurt former players

Ignore and move on.

You're being way to dismissive. Individually, these instances are nothing. But lumped together en masse, these amount to a lot. I think the key thing here is LOIC which is pretty obvious.

Does it go on everywhere? Probably, but that doesn't matter.

It happened so long ago I doubt anything happens with him.

Based on interviews with 3 former players who were kicked off the team?

Didn't former players come out and say the same thing about Auburn a year ago on outside the lines or something?

As of the current story id be more dissapointed if we were NOt doing what's mentioned than if we were. Nothing immoral about helping a kid out with food money imo. Only issue to be concerned about comes in part four with the hostess program.

I have no fricking doubt in my mind this was more of Saban's Mafia/'handlers' digging for anything he could to get on Miles and implicate him on the most minute and ridiculously small issues.

Ding ding ding.

I am not dismissing that this could be a problem for Les, but if their initial SHOCKING HEADLINE NEWS is just this... It means they are trying to make some noise and sell some magazines. This shite happened a decade ago and the NCAA recently couldn't find proof that the fricking Heisman trophy winner was getting paid when it was blatantly obvious that he was???

SI gunna SI... Not worried.

You still don't have to worry. I like how the article says "heard from multiple players" when they got all of this shite from 3 processed players. SI is a shell of it's former self.

If there was any other evidence to corroborate the allegations then something might come out of this. But I'm guessing this will end just like every other expose' Thayer Evans is involved in, the accusers will refuse to meet with the NCAA and no evidence is handed over.

If you're a journalist and want to expose a program, take a lesson from Charles Robinson and find record of payments to corroborate your story.

More likely, however, is that OU sent the attack dogs in Ok State's direction. Helps OU even more that Larry Porter is getting his name caught up in it and he's now at Texas... two birds.

Until the next HUGE story comes out like some truck driver getting slapped by his opponents girlfriend, or RGIII farts in a press conferences etc. etc. etc.

Don't worry about ESPN, they are a bunch of clowns. Worry about the 5 Star football team that our coach (that this very media mocks constantly and calls stupid) has assembled.

Well, I guess we will find out the likes of whom really despise LSU when some media pundits come out and try to find a way to bash Les.

I think this thing is going to be more problematic for Miles than most think. I imagine OSU is going to try put all of this on him to try and save their own asses.

It is a bad distraction as he tries to make a run for another MNC. Not good for LSU at all.
