I am taking my dad with me to the game this comin weekend. While that doesn't sound out of the ordinary, he is 78 yrs old and has NEVER been to a game! It is too h.ot for him to tailgate all day so I want to take him to lunch somewhere on campus and then go to the game. Any suggestions???

The union is a comfortable place to hangout, eat and watch other games.

Lsu dairy store used to sell ice cream on game days- not sure if they still do.

If you're drinking, go with the chimes right off campus.

I think the faculty club is also open on gamedays.

The Dairy Store is open.

I really miss the buffet on the third floor of the Union. Why did they quit doing that?

I agree with chimes or walkons. Chimes food is better than walk ons IMO

Chimes for sure. Walk-On's food is terrible.

Walkons. You'll be out of the heat and still get the tailgate atmosphere.
