Fellow recruiting nerds, while I realize it sucks losing out on big time talent from time to time, we need to realize we are talking about 1 or 2 kids in the entire state per year.

Not everyone grows up loving purple and gold and the recruits don't owe anyone anything in terms of picking a college.

With that said this is a very special time to be a Tiger fan, and these swings of success come and go in cycles. We will end up with a top 5 class this year maybe the #1 class in the nation. Our current team will blow expectations out of the water this year.

Get on board with the kids who want to represent LSU and let the others do as they may.

I agree. The program is bigger than one kid. I wish him the best and hope we kick his butt the next 4 years. No one should hate a kid for going someplace else, but should certainly applaud all of the ones who decide to come here and put on the purple and gold.

I agree with most of your post but the kid did grow up a Tiger fan, we started recruiting him when he was in 8thhis grade, and program wise we match up evenly with Bama so that is what everyone is having a hard time understanding I am sure.

I think it was Lungenbill who said it today...after this Cam commitment, whoever signs the remaining top LA guys will have the number one class in America.

it stings a little now, but it will be water under the bridge very soon except for the few teenagers on here.

Classy post. Let's embrace those that want to be Tigers, and wish the others the well. They are kids just trying to find their way in the world.
