Do we look next year three Israelis in the NBA, Basketball League best in the world? Lior Eliyahu accepted an offer to sign immediately a season uniforms New Orleans Flikns, it was revealed this morning (Wednesday) exclusively on the sports channel.
...Online sports channel learned that Lior Eliyahu considering the offer seriously and probably will take it. The only thing that could prevent the player, which is the Israeli team at the European Championships in Slovenia, is if you get an offer impressive big club in Europe.
...Back Lior Eliyahu. The player who was the anchor of the Maccabi Tel Aviv in recent years, could not keep his position this season at the club yellow, mostly due to his leg injury during the season. The forward, who will celebrate 28 next week, recorded a season 11.0 points per regular season league and 13.3 points in the playoffs. His best game of the season Winner League would win over Hapoel Jerusalem at the opening of a series of semi-final playoffs, then scored 22 points and pulled five rebounds. However, the average of Elijah Euroleague season were the lowest of his since 2008. Elijah recorded 23 appearances and contributed only 7.3 points per game.

With reports circulating that NBA's New Orleans Pelicans are interested in Lior Eliyahu, he is not doing the best job of impressing

Lior Eliyahu couldn't guard a lamp post with a hernia.
There was a report today in Israel that the Pelicans want Lior Eliyahu. This game probably puts that to rest.
Lior Eliyahu just airballed a free throw.

Has he watched our play at the 3 the past few seasons?

Looking at his eurobasket stats LINK , he can't hit 3s at all and his FT% is around 65% which isn't good. His FG% is almost 58% which is good, but judging by that video highlight he better be crafty as hell if he expects to score anything but garbage points in the NBA.

Someone needs to go to the help board and demand a change to Flikns Talk.

I still like Los Pelicanos, but Flikns is pretty good.

I wonder who this would mean is leaving. You have to think if he's leaving Europe for the NBA he's at least expecting to last until January cuts like Pops Mensah-Bonsu did. Arinze Onuaku is the last guy that was in but he looks like a bruiser which we don't really have on the roster. It seems like Brian Roberts might be more expendable even though he could be a better player.

You describing Aminu?

No. Aminu can shoot FTs and play defense. Lior Eliyahu couldn't guard a lamp post with a hernia. I'm thinking if we have interest and he can't shoot or play defense he must be crafty and smart like Goose.

A 28 yo foreign sf playing in the Israeli league who can't shoot or defend sounds like a terrible proposition.
Sounds like this is just his agent talking trying to get a bite from a European club for one last payday before he hangs them up.

You might be right. From a TWolves beat writer:
