Well most rational LSU fans know it is very possibile. See Clemson.

Obama

Because it is a football game, it starts with sixty minutes and ends with zero. There is nothing written in stone for what occurs between the two, especially the first game of the year.

People who say or write things like this always amuse me. Vegas simply sets the line to balance the betting and eliminate risk. The line is a reflection of what the ignorant masses think, not a product of some advanced AI algorithm. Vegas isn't Skynet.
TCU has nowhere near the talent we do. They are a mediocre team coming off a 7-6 season. There is no excuse for losing. Of course it CAN happen, but only if we play poorly.

When was the last time they played an SEC team?
More than 10 years ago.

Because it's LSU. What is wrong with you?
Have you seen LSU's out of conference record in season with Miles?
LSU is loaded this year.
Absolutely.
Struggled? LSU beat Washington just fine. How about LSU destroying Oregon and won their last 2 openers mightily fine. LSU also had JJ and Lee for those games you speak of, and guess what. LSU won. TCU doesn't even have a QB threat of much.
BTW who is saying LSU wins 50+ to 0? They should still win double digits easily. Far too much talent.

I said this against Washington and North Carolina too.
We went all the way to Washington and played a late game with JJ starting only his 3rd game of his life and Chavis starting his first game of his LSU tenure, and we still won by eight. We went up 30 to 10 on UNC. Miles took his foot off the gas, starting putting in the second and third stringers, played 18 true and redshirt freshman, and we got out by the skin of our teeth.
You don't have a clear remembering of the situations do you?

Well, TCU media thinks LSU is going to lose.

I don't think it's a case of thinking LSU can't lose, but more the fact LSU hasn't hasn't taken an L in a OOC game regular season game in like forever...or seems that way.
We have become sooooooo spoiled!

They are better than mediocre. But LSU can make them look that way.

Great thread.
It would be even better if the LSU football team feels the same way about TCU.

You don't understand how they set the line. It has absolutely nothing to do with football expertise.

e: Why does everyone think it's impossible for us to lose to TCU? (Posted on 8/30/13 at 2:25 pm to ClientNumber9)
We will win this game by more than 10 points. While they are a well coached ranked team, they can't keep up with us at any position. Agreed anything is possible, but if our offense establish the run early, we roll.
How, exactly, is this measured prior to a game? "They can't keep up with us at any position." Is that based on recruiting stars/rankings? Film from past games?
