Dude, the NCAA and A&M agreed that he broke a rule by not trying to stop the selling of his signed memorabilia. That's why he was suspended for half a game. Go look it up. The evidence is the fact that 5000 items with his signature on it ended up for sale. Apparently, he admitted to signing those things.

I know Dutchtown teachers that are very familiar with Saban's people basically living in the school in communication with Lacy and Collins at ALL times. They come and go as they please.

Yes I am aware. You are trying to say that there was evidence of a greater infraction, which is not the case. You are trying to say there was past precedent and gave examples unrelated to case and info known at this time.

He "inadvertently" committed a minor infraction. Past precedent would be rules education.

Lol you're on probation. To think y'all don't cheat is just ignorant. Every one in the sec cheats. Period.

I see nothing wrong with this enforcement. They punished him for violating the "spirit of the rule," not for breaking the letter of the law. Basically, he weaseled his way around a rule and caused a bit of trouble, so he has to sit in the corner for a bit.

Also, this is a college students' extra-curricular activity, and most of us are grown men, so there's no reason for us to give two shits about this anyway. Therefore, everything is ok.

I am not. I have seen no evidence that he was paid. I believe he was, but if he was smart enough to get away with it, then good for him. I am saying that his infraction was more severe than you are making it out to be, and that it's worthy of more than half a game suspension. I don't see how you can say there was anything inadvertent about this. It was pretty blatant.

It really is true. they are gutless and toothless at this point. unless they have a video of you accepting the check and and shaking hands with boosters while they hand you the keys to a sports car on signing day, you will walk.

and the toothless response to Camgate, JFF, the shady shite going on in LA with Bama recruits. The NCAA is unwilling and/or unable to enforce its own rules. LSU should act accordingly and push the envelope aggressively, or risk being left behind by other schools. CSB, I mad, etc.

Lsu and the rest of college sports are breaking rules just fine, they don't need more permission.
