Anyone think that maby we just arent using him the rite way?

His first season that he was here Sean was coaching, but this was ingrams rookie year, which would be why he had an ok season but not the one that everyone was expecting

Last year i blame the coaches just not using him the right way. He seems to do alot better when he runs to the outside and gets into open field/screen pass on the sideline getting him into open space

We almost always just send him in from the sidelines to run it up the middle (VERY PREDICTABLE. Defences- "hey look guys. Ingram is in. He must be running the ball")

I think that this is the year the Sean Peyton uses Ingram the right way and makes it less predictable for opposing defences when ingram is running the ball.

I have seen flashes of this running style in preseason, and everyte he ran the way i think that he should he got much more yards than just simply running it up the middle every play

I'm not so sure it's scheme. I did like seeing the screen pass (I think it was a play action HB screen to be exact) to him vs. Oakland, he did pretty well with it because the defense was not expecting it. The only problem with giving him the ball in a checkdown or screen pass is the production once he gets into space. If you give him the ball with room to run he'll pick up 5-8 yards; whereas you give the ball to Thomas or Sproles in space and they have a good chance to get 20+ yards/a touchdown (if the safety sucks). I don't know, running back is one of those positions that you draft expecting to have an immediate impact - no one can say he has done that.

If you spell Ingram backwards you get Margni.
If you search"margni" you get this...

Kinda explains all this "Ingram" stuff going on everywhere.

Why doesn't it hurt the rest of the backs that have ever been here under Payton's system? Ingram sucks. Deal with it.

Sorry for such a shitty thread guys, but. alll im trying to say is that i think if we found a different way to run him he would be more successful. Everytime we bring him in from the sidelines he runs the exact same dam play almost every time.

I think that with the return of sean peyton, we will see a variation of the way that ingram is used, thus making him a better player. we have already seen flashes of it in the preseason and i like what i have seen so far. Im just so tired of all of the ingram negativity. just trying to throw out something positive about Ingram.
