Whether or not Cam can force a change in Les Miles offensive philosophy?
have you seen anything to indicate that there will be a change in philosophy? Cameron was brought in to improve the implementation and execution, but the philosophy is still the same. And part of that philosophy is to limit the opponent's opportunities in the second half. So yes, you'll probably be disappointed this year when the Tigers aren't firing downfield when they're up by 10 late in the 3rd quarter.

That's not really true

Defense is not a concern. Might be better than the last two years. I'm not sure D line can be blocked.
Concerns
Mett, kicking game, WR's getting open, O line,
I beleive we will see the same thing as l;ast year. Defense will keep us in all of the games. Offense will struggle and cost us a couple of games because they cannot get a few key first downs in a few key games.

Field goals. And the offense can't score in the red zone.

The brutal schedule, while our main competitor plays garbage SEC East opponents. (again)

Injuries at key positions.
Like every year.
Like every year.

That's not the philosophy, or the change, I'm looking for. How about firing downfield and executing in the FIRST HALF so you won't have to worry about "limiting the opponent's opportunities in the second half"- BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL LEAD.
What a novel concept.

If we lose 3-4 games again, and BAMA wins another and A&M makes it to BCS bowl, I think the perception will be one of a precipitous decline in a short time.

oh, so you mean like 2 years ago...got it

One time 2 years ago is an anomaly, twice or more in a row is a trend. Here's to trend's.

the only trend is you predicting program failure year after year. When the staff trusts the offense, they've been more aggressive. Hopefully Cam has cleaned up some of the deficiencies they showed last year and this year will be more productive.

it's weird how everyone forgets this.
my concerns (omitting injuries which is always a concern):
1) consistency and fluidity on offense, from mett's decision making, to WR drops, to a cohesive line, to playcalling.
2) defense not giving up late scores
