Had one this week and was underwhelmed. Meat and gravy was bland, to my taste. First time trying the roast beef poboy there. I usually get the fried shrimp or catfish poboy and love those. Am I totally off base here?

I had one from there a couple of years ago and left feeling the same way.
I don't like the big and hard poboy bread they serve down here however. I much more prefer a Ray's Pege style poboy bun than one that is subject to breaking a bicuspid or incisor.

It's a bit bland. With that said, I get the surf 'n turf and just add black pepper and a healthy amount of hot sauce.

I had one last year. I put the pepper shaker to it. Problem solved.

There RB is terrible and it's just ruins a good shrimp po boy on the surf n turf.
