Are we though?

As I understood it, our bid for 2022 was based on a lot of major upgrades to stadiums. I doubt we funnel that type of money into a project for something that may or may not happen.

We offered to upgrade to make ourselves more appealing. The state of Texas could host alone with Reliant, Jerry World, Kyle, and DKR.

You're insane if you think this matters in the end. No World Cup/fricked up World Cup versus giving it to the US when maybe not all of the stadiums are up to snuff? Yeah, that's a no brainer.

Also, I watched a few GC games at Reliant in 2011. It was fine.

Look if Legion fricking Field can host Olympic soccer matches, the US can plop soccer matches on just about any major stadium in any state and be able to accommodate World Cup soccer.

Legion.FRICKING.Field.

And you're bitching that JERRY WORLD was "too close" to the corners? If Jerry knew the World Cup was coming in the next 6 months he'd have people out there rearranging seats in a blink to make it fit.
