I live in Denham Springs and I'm looking for the nearest place to find Canebrake beer. I want to bring some to my brother that lives in Tenn. Thanks.

I had to explain to the manager that I was (1) not a rival in town store and (2) that I was not a vendor...I just like to know what they have and that they are keeping up with the BR scene..

I'm just glad I got the Plattenville Leblanc's to start selling it....

My selection previously was Tin Roof Amber, Abita Purple Haze, Abita Amber, Abita Turbodog, 3rd Shift, and then Cider Beers

It's in virtually every gas station as well.

I'm a fan of their Farmhouse Ale.

I don't see the love for cane break. It's just ok... Beer tender at Big Heads had a good laugh with me about the cane love that has exploded, he had to agree but he loves how it sells.

In Ascension Parish it isn't every where yet, many restaurants still don't sell it and only Sammy's/Rotolos has it on tap I've found.

Not in Denham..I believe its a different distributor so it comes West instead of goes East..

Yes once you cross the Aimit the bud distributor out of Mandiville handles it and I don't believe Andrew is brewing enough to go that far, but I could be wrong.

I don't see the fascination with Canebreak either. It's ok but not the greatest thing out of the area in a longtime. But thats the beauty of beer, to each his own. I'm more excited about what Andrew has brewing in his mind for future releases.

Yep, they lost their previous manager. New guy doesn't seem to be as enthusiastic. The other guy would actually read up on a lot of the websites and forums to keep up with new releases to the area and try to get at least a small amount in the store to try them out. The new guy apparently has to be pointed to new stuff and then he'll try to get it, although not nearly as quick.
