Perriloux (sp?)
Yeah, he put his foot down after the 20th offense ;)

Most coaches "discipline" or suspend their players against "cupcake U" - it's nothing new.
In 1986 Tennessee self-suspended 10 of their players for their opener against New Mexico.
So Patterson was right that players would be taken out by Miles against lesser opponents but it's nothing new and he shouldn't be miffed.

Dickey said school administrators had decided to act now, rather than wait for the NCAA to order suspensions. Tennessee starts its Southeastern Conference schedule on Sept. 13 against Mississippi State.
"We are taking the 10 out now, rather than risk losing eligibility later," Dickey said.

If I was Les, just to piss everyone off, I would keep the suspension internal and have JH suit up for the TCU game but know before hand that he wasn't playing a down. The media meltdown the first week about Les not disciplining him would comical.

That would be cool but honestly I'd rather have Hill playing. I know Blue is good but he's been out almost a whole season and I'm just nervous about rust from the injury

Everybody on the team's been out almost a whole season.

Gary Patterson is a fine coach. But he should worry about his own team. Les Miles knows what he's doing at LSU.
Who hacked Finebaum's twitter feed????

that sounds like something he would normally say I think.
I saw some sarcasm in there, I don't know about you. That dude knows how to spin shite with the best of them.

That's the thing though. Miles never said Hill would be back for TCU. He said there is more punishment to come but didn't specify what. Its nothing new, he's always been like this when it comes to suspensions and injuries. No one ever knows when an LSU player is finished their punishment or fully healthy until they get into the game.

He needs to know his role and shut his mouth.

there are a lot of LSU fans who would get their jimmies rustled by urban's suspension tactics who are defending miles here. it's HI-larious shite to watch
There was a thread on this last night and I basically said Patterson was right and immediately got the whole Urban treatment after. Even though he just suspended his starting RB for something he wasn't even charged for.

Miles kicked perilloux and Matthieu off. Kicking Perriloux off set our team back a lot. We lost 5 games that season and watched Lee throw like 8 pick sixes.
This instance is debatable and we won't know until we see when hill plays a game, but to call miles a coward or to say he always puts winning first is ignorant.
You either don't know what you're talking about or you just want to bad mouth the man. He has kicked the best player off his team in 2 different instances.

It's hypocrisy to the fullest. All for running a tight ship and putting morals over winning, except for when it's LSU. Just win, baby.
LSU fans being hypocritical? Nah..
