Will Patterson take back his comments if/when Miles does suspend Hill?

No. The fricking spin on ESPN and in others' comments will be that Patterson pressured Miles into suspending him and praise will be heaped all over Patterson for putting the "student" over "athlete."

This is why I hope miles plays Hill and lets him take the fricking victory knee as well just to rub it in.

again, what is not being stressed enough is that Miles may have all intentions to suspend Hill, as he's alluded to further punishment being served for him. In the meantime, all Hill is doing now is the same as Fields is doing...PRACTICING!

read the entire first page of this thread. everyone seems to think reinstatement to the team = no games missed.

probably should have waited until the punishment was announced before crucifying miles but that would be the smart thing to do and why bother doing that.

i kind of want hill to play now too since the national media has all brought out their pitchforks before the punishment was even announced. i know thats backwards logic but screw it at this point.

well to be fair, miles could have issued a suspension already. it's not like the facts changed. there were 2 variables (if he had to do time on the battery or if his probation was revoked). that means there were what? 5 options? really 2 options (hill goes to jail for either or hill doesn't)

he could have had a plan for either scenario ready

miles likes to play games with the media and in this instance, it is coming back on him

Honestly, for this offense he deserved 2-3 games. People are going full retard wanting 5.

There is no winning in this situation. You're gonna have Pollack and his bleeding vag claiming that this is a mockery of "student athletes." (for some reason UGA fans have been the biggest fricking whiners about Hill. Not really sure why.)

If we suspend Hill for the 2-3 games we should, then it's just reported that we fell to pressure and LSU "had no choice."

If we don't, then the whining continues.

frick it. let him play and let them whine.

I can't believe yall think Richt is an angel and is the highest moral character in the SEC.

Where did he touch you?

and to call him a starting safety is questionable at best. He's yet to start a game and may not end up a starter.

He was going to be the starting safety. Coaches have said as much and he'll start against South Carolina. But please tell me more about my team and who will and will not play.

If your player is smoking and admitting it and your test isn't catching it one of two things is happening:

1. your tests are fricking garbage by design to catch only the stupidest offenders.
2. Richt tells the players waaaaay in advance when the test will be so that have time to flush it out.

Our tests are the same as everyone else's. We test randomly, like everyone else. No evidence to suggest that he had been tested before, so stfu.

Look at our weed suspensions over the past 4-5 years. This is CLEARLY not the case.

Miles never announces shite about suspensions or injuries. You know this. Why would he change his protocol now? To make Patterson happy?

miles likes to play games with the media

I don't know so much that it's that, or that he takes up for his players and doesn't think it's any of the media's fricking business what goes on in his players' lives.

they'll probably keep Hill out and cite that he's not in game shape yet even though he hadn't missed a day of practice

He knocked a guys teeth out at the bar. Knocked a guys teeth out.

I also don't think that was his first issue while at LSU.

Just saying that I've read that others will push him. Sure, he was penciled in , but you guys are acting like he is a star already. It's not like you're losing Ed Reed back there.

Clearly, it isn't the case with us either. Look at our suspensions. I'm almost positive Hill was suspended for 2-3 games, but Miles has never announced suspensions because he knows these are just kids and don't need the fricking media knowing their business with the spin and rumors the media constantly puts out there. It's better to keep it in house.

I'm not sure why UGA fans are the ones who are most upset about Hill. I don't get it.

however you want to describe it, his actions have opened the door for the media to do exactly what you're claiming they will do (and i don't really disagree with your predictions)

True. But, you're screwed if you're completely open to the media too. Then they start leaving out a few facts here and there, and start putting quotes out of context to make your players look worse.
