No care as long as I'm having fun.

Birds are not the main ingredient to me having fun on a good ole fashioned dove hunt.

FWIW...I went to sherburne last year and hunted. It was good for a freebie. The burnt field was definitely better than the other field that was just bushhogged.

After we bale hay, it might as well be burnt. Nothing but stubble.

The most consistent dove field I have ever seen is the dirt pits off of 4-H in LP... They have doves constantly

You know where I work. All you gotta do is take a lil truck ride from the office and the field is in the back. I can go from sitting in my office to a dove field in 2 minutes.

I used to hunt those fields behind UC when I was in HS and college. Had some damn fine shoots over there.

I can see a lot of traffic congestion on my way home from work in early Sept. I'll stop by with a yeti of ice cold beers to hold us over till the traffic dies down.
