Working out, eating breakfast, catching up on stuff that happened overnight.

It's probably also the idea of not showing up right at 9am just to make sure to clock in....
I think many wealthy people don't necessarily watch the clock...at all....

Guess that might work out well for you if you have a 9 AM start on the East Coast or something
For those of us that start work around 6 AM it would be pretty asinine to get up at 3 in the morning

How many wealthy people you think have shifts that start at 6 am, and a supervisor who will ream them out for being 5 minutes late?
Not that I doubt the 3 hr thing is true, I just think they have the causation backwards.

I work my own hours. I get up at 5ish. In work by 6 unless I work out. But the rest of the crowd doesn't show until 730-8. My boss is never in before 8. Her boss is in by 7. She has twin 3 year old girls so its not like she is snoozing.

Precisely
It's not like you're going to become wealthy by waking up 3 hours early for your 40K a year job every day.

Habit #1: Having wealthy parents/family.

Since 90% of shows are basically considered reality now days, are some considered poorer than others?
For instance, I like to watch pawn stars and american pickers solely for the historical value of the items. I will not watch swamp people, duck dynasty, big brother ect...

How about burning time on social media outside of linkedin?
Wonder what those %'s look like.

Also, I don't listen to audiobooks on my commute. But I listen to numerous podcasts instead.
That's got to count for something. So I think that would put me over the hump at 11/20 wealthy habits.
With a little schmoozing and being a dick to my kids I can push that score even higher.

Central time zone, at work at 7:30 every morning. I get up at 4:00 AM and go to the gym. Home at 5:45, coffee/news/breakfast for 20 minutes, then the my wife and son get up and the day starts. I don't get off work until 5:00 - 5:30 though. For me, the getting up that early is driven more by the time I get off work than it is the time I go in.

Now that I think about it, I don't watch any traditional television programs, other than what comes on the Disney Channel when I watch with my son. I do watch Swamp people and Duck Dynasty occasionally. Deadliest Catch and Mountain Men are the two I primarily watch. I used to enjoy Last American Cowboy. I haven't seen it in awhile so I assume it went by the wayside. Something about Mountain Men/Cowboy appeals to me. I suppose it is the isolation and the fact pretty much everything those guys do is for their own survival that I like. At least that's how it comes off on television.
I've never seen an episode of Big Brother or any of those types of shows.

Most US millionaires are first generation. So this is a mantra used by many to justify their never being wealthy.

The future value of having familial assistance with vehicles, tuition & fees, rent, and other early-life expenses is enough to make a large swing in most people's lifetime accumulation of wealth. That doesn't even begin to describe the easier access to capital and networking benefits that individuals with wealthy families have when compared to the poor.
I'm not trying say that wealthy people are "bad" or make excuses for poor people, but there's definitely a benefit to being born into a wealthy family.
Oh yeah, being a millionaire doesn't make you wealthy. I'd be curious how the 1st generation numbers shift when the "wealthy" baseline is moved up to $5M-$10M.

Right. You're getting up early to hit the gym and you leave time to spare to eat. Nothing unusual about that behavior. Some people work out in the afternoon so they don't need to budget that much time before work.
