some on the bayou swear that DE Jermauria Rasco is faster than his predecessor, No. 5 overall draft pick, Kiki Mingo.

Ten Best LSU Players
1. OT La’el Collins, Jr.
2. DT Anthony Johnson, Jr.
3. RB Jeremy Hill, So.
4. QB Zach Mettenberger, Sr.
5. LB Lamin Barrow, Sr.
6. WR Jarvis Landry, Jr.
7. WR Odell Beckham Jr., Jr.
8. DE Jermauria Rasco, Jr.
9. SS Craig Loston, Sr.
10 CB Tre'Davious White, Fr.

Ballsy prediction if you ask me. However, if he steps in and is really that well then this defense will be scary good.

Apparently Jimbo Fisher was the OC in 2007. Could have sworn it was Crowton.

Good write up. Defense is talented but inexperienced, especially on DL. May struggle a bit compared to the last 3-4 years, but if/when DL steps up, the entire defense should get back to "normal."

Offense should be MUCH better than it has been. Too much talent on the field. However, Miles and co. are absolutely terrified of trying to score TDs in the red zone. If you're not going to trust your QB to throw into the endzone this year, then when are you ever going to do so? Of all the shitty production on offense the last few years, this is the absolute worst. LSU blows SEC teams out if they quit settling for fricking FG's inside the redzone

You have to go all the way back to 2007, the Tigers’ national title year with Jimbo Fisher running the offense, to find a decent passing offense. And even then it was only ranked 58th in the nation

Huh?

Forgot about the wizard.

It took them long enough to put it up.

I think LSU was the last team.

The season will be a success if … LSU wins the national title. Really, what’s left? Alabama and LSU have been arguably the two best teams for the past three years, so the bar is set ridiculously high for the Tigers right now. Perhaps beating Alabama would make the season a success – however, beating Alabama likely means winning the West and the SEC. Outside of having to play Alabama in a national title game again, winning the SEC likely means a national championship. Therefore, even with a tough schedule and turnover on defense, it’s BCS Championship or Bust.

That's what I'm talking about. Win the damn title. Let's go Tigers.

Like the article and he is spot on in many ways but he should have at least gotten Les's record right, 85&21 not 75&18, that was his record before last season started.
