am I the only person thats never inentionally caught a gar?

actually I think when I was like 5 we'd catch them at night under a dock with a light...

Do yall eat them?

I'm not fishing... but typically they clean and cook the fish at the bar and donate the money to charity. Fried fish and gar balls...

They're kinda fun to fish for and the big ones are a hell of a fight. It's a challenge for sure with rod and reel and hook. I keep pretty much nothing so I'm in it for the fight.

We used to chill them then cut steaks wit a butcher boy saw then throw on the pit. Talk about good bar-b-qued. Been years since I've eaten any though.

We fish for em... Won some rodeos with em....had a state and world record for awhile....

We were gonna fish it but lil choupique got invited to go rainbow trout and brook trout fishing....
