I love guitar driven blues, so I am a fan of all three Kings, BB, Freddie, & Albert. I actually saw Freddie King in New Orleans around 1972 or '73 at City Park stadium. He was the opening act for the Allman Brothers. I like Luther Allison, Muddy Waters electric stuff from his Chicago period, Albert Collins, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, (I saw those last four in concert live), SRV, Lonnie Brooks, Joe Bonamassa, Lowell Fulson...guys like that.
I have records of a lot of old stuff by Muddy Waters (1930's era Plantation Recordings on acoustic), Robert Johnson (complete recordings) Son House, John Lee Hooker, Lightning Hopkins, Lead Belly, Howlin Wolf, etc.

My new favorite is Joe Bonamassa with Beth Hart.
She is a combination of Etta James and Janis Joplin. Amazing.

Mannish Boy
From The Last Waltz
This got me into Muddy Waters and I've gotten into more guys since then.
Buddy Guy or Chuck Berry is probably my favorite.

CSB.. I've played with Hubert Sumlin, r.i.p., Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, r.i.p., Willie King, r.i.p., and done several shows with Blind Mississippi Morris. Also played with Bob Margolin, the white dude playing guitar with Muddy on the Last Waltz video somebody posted. Met a lot of the older Mississippi guys. Here's one of my all time favorites: Otis Rush

See Me Laughin
Pretty badass documentary about some lesser known bluesmen.
Little Freddie King
New Orleans' own blues troubadour.
