There's no question now that Hank either knows or will confirm soon. That shapes the entire final battle.
I suspect lots of bloodshed. Walt Junior, the baby and Marie may be the only survivors.

Walt mows down Elliot and Greymatter in the end.

Bryan Cranston said he expects to die at the end, whether by murder or cancer. I can see them doing a Shield type of ending where Walt gets away with everything legally, but his family leaves him and he dies of cancer alone. They really haven't brought up the cancer much lately so I expect that come back in some fashion.

Jesse gets killed by Walt.
Hank brings Walt in, with some help from Walt Jr.
Walt dies of cancer in a federal pen.

The Opening scene in Season 5 has to give us a clue, right?? I think he gets out of town without his family but I think Hank dies

Hank kills Walt but does do in a manner where Hank gets arrested and it appears Hank will spend life in prison.
While on bail awaiting trial Jessie kills Hank for revenge.
Jessie takes the money and runs retiring on a beach where he marries Skyler and raises the baby.

Walt loses his whole family because he can't stop.
The fake ID is because he called Saul's guy, or Hank put him in witness protection because of the drug money used to pay for his shite.
If it all ties back to Grey Matter, I will find vince gilligan and murder him

You've been saying for awhile that Gray matter will come back into play.
I love that angle.
Whatever happens, I want Walt to win in the end.

There's just no way they'd write something so juvenile. That would be the most extraordinary coincidence ever, even bigger than Jesse's girlfriend's brother getting killed by Gus' dealers.

I think Jesse will find out Walt poisoned Brock and kill Walt with the ricin. Walt's idea of going down in a blaze of glory (the gun buy at the diner) will be cut down by an intelligent cunning of his own doing. Walt's hubris after Gus' death and acceptance of the murdered dirtbike kid makes him less likable than previous seasons. Think we're being prepared for his death.
Walt looks like he's been on the lam awhile at the beginning of Season 5--his 52nd birthday at the diner. There will probably be more manhunt than DEA investigation for the last 8 eps. I think Hank brings in Todd and breaks him early in the season.
Skyler will be doing a lot of lying to Hank and Marie, but I think in the end she is rewarded for being the unpopular rock of the family. I think she was introduced to Jesse last season because the two will be spending more on screen time together in the last 8 eps. Walter Jr. is crushed when he finds out the truth about Walt but he doesn't abandon him until he finds out the online fundraiser was rigged.

did you read craigbiggio's thread about the cold opening of the first episode?

doesn't appear that way.

I agree. It would be a silly path to take and they've already done the "corporate drug production/dealing" angle with Madrigal.

I may need a rewatch of the last 2 or 3 seasons. The long wait made me forget the details.
