Stephen Rivers and Rob Bolden...do you think these guys will ever see the field?

So do you think these guys will ever see the field again? I was so excited about them at the start of last year, but it just doesn't seem that they've generated much attention. Is Jennings going to beat them out or will we see more of these guys in 2013 and 2014?

I just started another thread asking the Rant's thoughts on Rettig vs Harris. I guess we can have a similar discussion on Rivers and Bolden. Personally I would hate to see them leaving without ever getting on the field, but anyone who has seen AJ10 throwing the ball would be convinced that he is a much more talented QB compared to Rivers and Bolden and he is younger, so unfortunately Jennings, if not Harris, probably will beat them out in 2014.

Wasn't Bolden supposed to be a tight end?

I can't wait to see JW74 and TT56 blocking for him. I really think TD83 is going to have a break out year receiving too.

Prefer Jennings as well.. but then again might as well just hope it's the best guy.

I will trust the coaching staff to make the decision next year on who the starter should be. I can promise this much though, whoever is the starter the rant will think the backup should be playing more.

I think this will be Rivers big year. We will see a lot of him.

I never considered Bolden as an actual option for us at QB. Rivers however is still the 2nd string guy IMO because you're not gonna throw a freshman in there in a bad situation. Next Spring they will open up competition but for now its Rivers who will get that chance outside of the Jennings gimmick offense plays.

I thought Bolden transferred

It starts. The 4 star freshman recruit next year will be better than the two freshman 4 star recruits on campus right now AND a senior...

..just wait until we use Bolden to run all of these option plays, you know, because he's a black guy playing QB..
..even though we had like -56 yards rushing at Penn St.

Bolden hasn't even been mentioned in the 4 deep.
I mean, I think he's just trying to graduate at this point and get his degree.

I can see Bolden moving on as a GA after this season somewhere after this year.

Stephen Rivers will play a bunch this year. Cam Cameron seemed very high on him in that interview the other day.
