I know most people these days just use their own excel files to manage their monthly budget. Is anyone willing to share an existing excel workbook that they utilize? Thank you!

Have you checked out the personal finance & budgeting Excel templates available for free download on the Microsoft website?
I don't use any of them but they are pretty comprhensive for spreadsheet applications.

if you have gmail, you can use google docs and they have a bunch of good budget/finance templates for household use.

Have you tried mint.com? I find it to be awesome. You can go in and categorize every transaction so it falls in your budget and you can see where your money goes. You can also pull in your credit cards, mortage, car loans, student loans, etc. to show the balances and your net worth.

IMO, mint.com or quicken are much better. why manually update spreadsheets when everything is automated these days?
