No reason you can't have both. I have the HMR and the Mach2 and will probably get the WSM one day too.

American Rifle magazine had an article on this set up in this months issue. Definitely redefines what a rimfire cartridge can do.

This thing looks awesome. I figured to inspire some more wants, this thread needed some pictures.

I've been keeping an eye in this gun as well. Will probably add one to the collection soon.

i have a 17 mach 2, 17 hmr, and will soon be adding the savage b mag 17wsm! with speeds that are on par with some centerfires but ammo prices in rimfire range but for 50qty instead of the 20qty for centerfire...should be a hell of a gun. cant wait, supposed to be out in august

Picking one up at Simmons today sometime. They don't have any ammo for it though. Said they would hold as many boxes as I wanted when they did get it since I was buying the rifle from them.

Our .17 and .204 are the most fun guns we have down at the ranch. The .204 is a varmint killing machine.

I've been wanting to get a .17 as my new tree rat extermination equipment.

Would love to post pics but, those mother frickers sold all 3 within an hour of me calling to verify they had one.
Got over there and the guy said he had been sitting on 3 of them for 2 weeks and as soon as he got off the phone with me 3 MF'ers walked in and bought what they had.
ETA: I should've told them to hold one for me but, didn't think they would sell 3 in that short of time.

Pretty damn popular for a rifle you can't get ammo for....

Probably because of the article in American Rifleman.
